Objectives of the guide

Logic apps are essential parts of the Data Platform; they allow small data process and stand as the primary function of Wavestone APIs’ backend. Provided by Azure, they let users from various horizons developing functions thought drag and drop development. Even though their creation and usage are user-friendly, building part of the Data Platform project with those require particular attention.

This document is destined to all Wavestone IT contributors to Data platform that will have to design API with a Logic app as backend. It proposes basic knowledge about:

  • What is a Logic app, and how is it used in the data platform context?

  • How to create and configure a Logic app?

  • How to secures them?

  • How to implement data operation workflows by choosing and using different action bricks?

This document only covers the primary uses of Logic apps. For more in-depth learning, refer to Microsoft’s documentation.
